Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unworn or unused, unopened, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, contact us at info@smallpethomes.com. Please do not send items back without first receiving instructions — unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Once your return is approved, we’ll send you a prepaid return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send your package.

🧾 Return shipping is free for all approved returns.

Restocking Fee

A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all returns that are not due to our error or product defect (e.g., if you changed your mind, ordered the wrong size, or no longer want the item). This fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

If the item is defective or there was a fulfillment error on our part, no restocking fee will be charged.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We’re happy to help resolve any issue promptly.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, or plants)

  • Custom products (e.g., special orders or personalized items)

  • Personal care goods (e.g., beauty products)

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

We also do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a new purchase for the replacement item.

European Union Cooling-Off Period

If your order is being shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason — no justification required.

As with standard returns, the item must be in the same condition you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need to provide proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days, minus any applicable restocking fees.

Please note:

  • It can take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.

  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you haven’t received a refund, contact us at info@smallpethomes.com.
